Rémi truly believes that the LoRaWAN standard is improving the lives of people, developing local economies and protecting the planet.
As Semtech’s global LoRaWAN networks director since 2017, Remi enables the expansion of the LoRaWAN operator footprint worldwide while supporting business increase and strategy.
Rémi is also a Semtech spokesperson and a leader for key strategic matters like network strategy, roaming and interconnection, 5G, LoRaWAN network satellite market enablement, and competition analysis.
For the LoRa Alliance®, Rémi drives public operator-focused activities as the network operator forum chair, building a unique LoRaWAN operator community in over 100 countries. Moreover, Rémi is the vice chair of the EMEA Work Group aiming to foster LoRaWAN business development in the region. Finally, Rémi is the sponsor for the Wireless Broadband Alliance Liaison promoting Wi-Fi standard collaboration with LoRaWAN.
For more than 20 years, Rémi has taken management and executive positions in mobile and fixed operators as well as software companies.
Remi received a LEAD professional certificate from Stanford Graduate School of Business (Voyagers Cohort), an engineering degree from Telecom Paris Tech, a master of computer science from Paris Orsay University, as well as a Business Communication Leadership degree from INSEAD.
